LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Kevin Daley joined organization members and residents from across the state at the Gift of Life event at the Michigan Capitol on Wednesday.
Daley, who has been a long-time supporter of the cause, spoke to participants about the meaningful effect donations can have on Michigan families in need, and the personal relationship his family has with the organization.
“This is an issue that is deeply personal to my family,” said Daley, R-Lum. “When my son Thomas passed, his heart went on to provide someone in need with a second chance at life — a very real, and personal example of the tremendous, life-altering work Gift of Life Michigan does.”
